Almost every dog has a moment when it attempts to chase its own tail. And although it looks like your dog is just having some good ol’ fashioned fun, there is actually a reason to feel some concern if it happens often. Chasing their tail means that they have an instinct to ‘hunt’ for something, a predatory instinct they have in their DNA. It’s also something they do when they feel stressed or anxious.
