We’ve all been privy to this little strange event where dogs basically greet each other by heading straight to the butt zone and sniffing each other out. Yes, it’s weird, but it’s just a way that dogs get to know each other. Dogs’ butts hold tons of pheromones, ‘a chemical secreted by an animal that determines behavioral development.’ No matter how gross you might find it, this is just an animalistic way where they are getting to know the personality of the other dog. Thank goodness humans don’t do the same!
