Again, like digging in the ground, dogs love to take whatever treats they were given and hide them in different places. The reason for this was because back in the day, when dogs had to hunt their own food, they didn’t always know when they would get to hunt again so they would hide away what they didn’t finish and go back for it another time. This was their way of assuring themselves a proper meal when they needed it!
