Barking At Other Dogs

This particular habit is very easy to understand. When a dog barks, it’s asserting its dominance, so when a dog is barking at another dog, it’s trying to prove that he or she is the alpha in the group. Sometimes the barking goes on without the dogs even really looking at each other but she feels threatened and ready to pounce. Be sure to keep your dog away from the other one unless you want to deal with actual biting, gnawing or other physical behaviors that will surely happen if you don’t control the situation.
