Probably one of the most irritating habits of a pet dog is when they scratch at the floor. They’ll do it to wood, tile, carpet, and basically any type of surface they can get their paws on. Unfortunately, no matter how much you hate it, dogs can’t help but do it! That’s because they feel the need to assert their dominance by leaving some sort of souvenir that’s they’ve been there. Much like peeing everywhere, they are basically saying ‘I was here!’
