Pushing Tin is a movie about an air traffic controller’s status as the best in the business threatened by a newcomer. Their rivalry goes beyond the workplace and threatens their personal relationship as well. It stars Billy Bob Thornton and John Cusack. It also featured Angelina Jolie as the wife of Thornton. Apparently Thornton and Jolie had a “steamy” relationship off-screen. That was a problem for Laura Dern, who was engaged to Thornton. Thornton abruptly called off the engagement to have Jolie. Sadly, Dern found out that Jolie and Thornton were planning to elope without giving her warning. They had one of the wildest relationships Hollywood has seen in a long time.
