Come on now Ben, really? When will this pattern of troublesome romances ever end with this guy? Few even know the actress Emily as she was not the starring role (Rosamund Pike was) in the movie. Gone Girl was a story about infidelity and revenge. Emily is actually an American model turned actress, and seemed to get the attention of Mr. Affleck right away. It is reported that he personally asked to have Emily get a bigger role than originally planned. They had some private moments during production, which led Garner to file for divorce in 2017. But, this time Mr. Affleck did not get to keep the lover, Emily married someone else in 2018. Good for her. Maybe Ben will have learned a lesson, or three.
