Due to the difficulty of movement and added muscle rigidity for patients that suffer from Multiple Sclerosis, physical or occupational therapy can help with both stretching and strengthening. Unfortunately, many patients complain that they lose the ability to do normal, everyday tasks and these exercises help the body regain strength and to reteach their limbs to do what is needed.
