Lead singer and front man of The Doors, Jim Morrison, was probably the epitome of what everyone believed a rock star was believed to be. He was strange, he loved alcohol and drugs, and he lived his life in the way he wanted. Of course back then, not everything was fit to show on television, especially Morrison’s suggestive lyrics and signature moves. He even managed to shock everyone after starring on the Ed Sullivan show, especially when Morrison refused to follow instructions and change his lyrics. He may have loved the music but he also struggled with the fame and eventually, succumbed to all the heavy partying. Sadly, his death is still shrouded in mystery up to this day yet despite that, his name and his music will last forever.
