Many Adopted Children Have RAD

Apparently, RAD is a common condition among children that are adopted when they are younger. Sadly, one of the most prevalent characteristics is that they’ve been through a very traumatic experience in their formative years. And while it sounds incredibly disturbing, a number of symptoms include bursts of anger, violence against pets, animals or other people, detrimental or hostile behavior, or self-inflicted harm. But the hope is always that children diagnosed with RAD can have happy lives once they go through therapy.
