Tim and Julie were almost at their wits end with what was going on with Beth. They knew they needed to figure out why she was behaving the way she did. They decided to get in touch with the adoption agency where they had been given guardianship over the two young siblings. The couple explained their concerns to the agency, telling them all about Beth’s troubling behavior and wanting to find out more about the children’s past. But much to their dismay, the agency told them that due to confidentiality laws, they weren’t allowed to share anything about Beth’s past. Rather, they were told to seek professional help instead.
