Although both Nancy Thomas and Connell Watkins were major positive influences on Beth’s therapy, it was Thomas that would have an even more important role in Beth’s young life. While Beth was in the Attachment Therapy Center, Thomas took a huge interest in Beth’s ongoing therapy, following her progress and finding ways to help little Beth deal with her traumatic past. Eventually, Thomas decided to adopt Beth, taking her home and becoming her second and thankfully, very last woman she’d ever call ‘mom.’
