After finding out about Beth’s horrific past, things began to go downhill even more. Beth wasn’t getting any better, and then Julie noticed something even more worrisome. She noticed that one of the drawers in the kitchen lacked some knives, which immediately made her suspect that Beth had taken them. Julie later on admitted that she had felt guilty about thinking Beth had taken them, but then something eventually implicated Beth after all. The young girl had described the knives to her adoptive mom in detail, all the while giving Julie a ‘malicious smile’ while telling her about them.
