This is the view from the sixth-floor window of the Texas School Book Depository where Lee Harvey Oswald was reported to have shot and killed JFK in November 22, 1963 during the presidential motorcade going through Dallas, Texas. After Oswald was arrested, he was fatally shot by Jack Ruby, a nightclub owner in the city, while in police custody in November 24 of the same year. It was reported that Ruby had ties in the underworld and thought that the killing of Oswald was part of the plot surrounding JFK’s assassination.
