Yaya Han

Yaya Han is a seasoned veteran in cosplay. She’s a cosplayer, designer, seamstress, and entrepreneur all rolled into one, and she has made roughly 300 costumes based on a wide range of genres since she started in 1999. Born and raised in China, she currently resides in the United States and is widely recognized as one of the reigning queens of international cosplay. She has over six hundred thousand followers on Instagram @yayahan where you can see her intricately designed costumes which she made herself. Starting out with limited funds and resources and without opportunities to enroll in fashion and design classes, she taught herself how to make her own costumes by carefully studying the characters and ensembles she chose to portray. Check out her Banshee Queen Enira from Lineage 2 because it is absolutely stunning. She also has impressive renditions of Fiora LoL from League of Legends and Camilla from Fire Emblem Fates, and an incredibly elaborate original Empyrean Empress. Yaya Han appeared on Syfy channel’s Heroes of Cosplay and has frequently served as judge on the TBS reality show King of the Nerds.
