The Indonesian model and fashion designer Alexandria Maria Putri Nony Lovyta, also known as Yukitora Keiji @yukitora_keiji, is a veteran cosplayer who found her way into the subculture when she was only 11. She started cosplaying in 2009 when her friends, fellow anime and gaming enthusiasts, encouraged her to participate in fan conventions. In 2010, she cosplayed her first character, Seth Nightroad from Trinity Blood, at the Animax Cosplay Competition, and she won first place in the Anime/Manga category. Since her first win, she has cosplayed dozens of other characters from anime series, movies, and video games, including Dead or Alive, Sengoku Basara, and K Project. Yukitora Keiji has been featured in various printed publications such as Animonstar Magazine, and she has appeared in TV shows locally and abroad like Indonesia’s NET Go Show and Japan’s Tokyo Game Show. Because of her many wins and indisputable talent, she’s been asked to judge cosplay competitions since she was 14.
