The Filipina actress, singer, songwriter, host, and VJ, Myrtle Abigail Porlucas Sarrosa started cosplaying at age 14. Her cosplaying career exploded after she participated in the reality TV game show Pinoy Big Brother: Teen Edition 4 where she was named “Cosplay Cutie ng Iloilo.” After winning the competition, she gained recognition and won many awards at cosplay conventions both on the local level and in the international arena. Myrtle has two million followers on Facebook @myrt.gail and over five hundred thousand followers on Instagram @myrtlegail, and you can check the self-proclaimed Otaku’s delightful cosplays, such as Raven from Teen Titans, Ezra Scarlet from Fairy Tale, Psylocke from X-Men, and Cammy from Street Fighter. Myrtle is also the resident host and judge of the first Philippine cosplay show, iCosplay.
