The crew on a cruise ship work seven days a week for several months without any vacation. And they are not paid as much as you think they are. Yet they are some of the friendliest and hardest working people in the hospitality industry. Even a smile and a thank you to the crew is sufficient to reward their hard work. But tips are always better. You don’t have to tip every crew member you encounter, but the ones serving you will surely appreciate it. Even the guy handing out towels by the pool deck deserves a tip. The waiters and bartenders as well. So don’t scrimp on the tips.
