It does not matter if some of the states allow marijuana use, any illegal drug is not tolerated on a ship. Some tourists think they can fool port authorities, but they realize that is just a fantasy. There have been many incidents of local port authorities busting passengers for possession. Some states require jail terms, while others will let you off with a fine. But the cruise can cancel your passage and you will just have to find your way back home. So really, it is not worth the trouble. Why risk a great vacation for a little weed?
