General Motors has been a huge name in the game for over 100 years, and they’ve dealt with a number of issues over that entire century. But with names like Chevrolet, Cadillac, Buick and GMC under its belt, GM has continued to be a powerhouse in the automotive industry even during the times that they’ve required bailouts. Greenhaven Associates (AUM $6.7 billion) added to its already sizable amount of shares in quarter two, bringing its total to a little bit more than 14 million shares, which are worth $356.1 million. This new total also accounts for 7.9% of the firm’s equity portfolio.
