Aside from HCA Healthcare, billionaire David Tepper of Appaloosa Management has also bought more stake in tech company Micron Technology. Tepper’s Appaloosa bought another 490,000 shares of Micron in the second quarter of the year. This brings his total to 9.4 million shares worth approximately $482 million. This venture leaves Appaloosa with 8.4% of its equity portfolio made up of Micron stocks, yet despite his reputation as a known activist investor, Micron doesn’t think that he will make any management moves in the near future.
