If you want to know what was deemed handsome, there’s no one better to look at than Cary Grant. He could give a lot of men in Hollywood in this day and age a run for their money. As for the first woman who was lucky enough to ever land this hunk, it was Virginia Cherill, another Hollywood actor herself. The two became official in 1934 when they married at the Caxton Registry Hall in London. For their honeymoon, they opted for Rome. Sadly, the marriage couldn’t even last a year. Just goes to show you that looks don’t have anything to do with getting lucky in love.
