Such was their love for each other than one honeymoon wasn’t enough. Lennon and Yoko have become so known in the Hall of Fame that even to this day, people know their names. The Barenaked Ladies even wrote a song about her. The two lovebirds got married in 1969, and this was Lennon’s second attempt at matrimony. They were such advocates for peace that they spent their honeymoon at the Hilton Amsterdam in what they dubbed the “Bed of Peace” for one whole week. Then, they continued on and walked the streets of Paris, looking like such celebrities and catching the attention of passersby wherever they went.
