Like Elizabeth Taylor, Marilyn’s first love didn’t last. Monroe fell in love with playwright Arthur Miller and decided to marry him in 1956 in White Plains, New York. While this didn’t last forever as well, the marriage stretched to five years before they decided to go their separate ways in 1961. Miller was, in fact, her last husband. For their honeymoon, they went to London where they ran into another Hollywood power couple, Sir Laurence Oliver and Vivienne Leigh.
