Douglas Fairbanks and Mary Pickford were both in the industry when they fell in love. They decided to make their love official on March 28, 1920. This was, in fact, not their first time. Rather, it was the second marriage for both. Still, they fell in love two years before in 1918. The two were considered to be the first royal couple in Hollywood. In fact, many thought of their union as the “marriage of the century.” As for their honeymoon, they chose to tour across all the continent of Europe.
