For the honeymoon, she and Prince Philip decided to head to Lord Mountbatten’s home in Hampshire, Broadlands. It was in this trip that the royal couple chose to check out a couple of local attractions such as Balmoral Castle and Osborne House. After that, they chose to head on to the Balmoral estate to the winter season at Birkhall. The trip took them three weeks to complete, and all the time, they had with him a special guest — Susan, the Queen’s beloved corgi. She was with them through and through.
