The King of Rock met his wife at a very young age. They had been a couple for many years before getting married on May 1, 1967. The event was an intimate ceremony at the Aladdin Hotel in Las Vegas. After they made it official, they headed off to Palm Springs for their honeymoon using the private plane of the famous Frank Sinatra. Presley was such a charmer that their home was eventually nicknamed Honeymoon Hideaway. After the trip, they went to Memphis for a small break as they spent their days with Elvis’s close circle of friends.
