The first on the list is an actress named Lana Turner who had been in the spotlight for more than 50 years. Back then, she was actually earning a pretty penny and was one of the highest-paid actresses under the MGM banner. She also lived through scandals as she re-married seven times. The fourth of which was with a socialite named Harry J. “Bob” Topping Jr.. He was the brother of the New York Yankees owner Dan Topping. They married at his family mansion in Connecticut before heading off to bask in their love in England in 1948.
