Beauty Has Been Appreciated Differently Through The Years

We have just seen how men appreciated beauty around 50 to 59 years ago. We are talking about the 1960s to the early 1970s. They were attracted to different things as compared to before the era, and after it. Time changes fashion, trends, and beauty parameters. During the 1920s, women preferred slim rather than curves. Short hair was preferred as compared to long hair. But the depression affected fashion and trends, as it affected lives. The 1940s made women rework men’s suits into women’s fashion. Sexy, voluptuous figures were still not popular. Then came the 1950s, and with it came the fuller figures. Large busts and an hour-glass figure were in fashion. The likes of Marilyn Monroe were in demand by men. But the 1960s was influenced by Twiggy, and slim was in, again. The 80s reverted back to the curvy figures, though more athletically built, and the 90s changed it back again to the slim preference, but not as skinny as the 1960s. So, there really was no perfect figure, and men appreciated every type of figure through the years.
