Terry Jo was terrified and fear took over. But after about five minutes, she mustered enough courage and peered through the door. She saw her mother and brother lying on the floor, drenched in their own blood. It was the bloodiest scene a little girl could ever encounter. Her young mind couldn’t come up with any rhyme nor reason to what was happening, but it was apparent that they had both been dead. The scene was macabre enough for her to assume it.
