The days that followed were grueling and trying for Terry Jo. For kids her age, the conditions she went through might have been too much to handle. No one at such a tender age could survive the atrocities nature gave. However, there were things that kept her going, such as the group of porpoises that kept her company for several hours at one point. But still, it seemed as if this was going to be the last stretch of her life, and dying this way was a petrifying thought. She still had so much to live for and as a young girl, life was supposed to stretch out longer.
