Titan Longhorn Beetle

If you’re squeamish and afraid of bugs, then this beetle will terrify you. Again, here’s another animal that isn’t usually large. In fact, one barely notices a beetle that’s nearby. But this titan longhorn beetle will make you cringe. You’ll mostly find this in South American forests – particularly in Venezuela, Peru, Ecuador, Colombia, and Brazil. This specimen reaches 6.6 inches long, and while the Hercules beetle can be longer, this one has a more massive body. In fact, their mandibles are incredibly strong that they can cut a stick in half.
