While it’s no surprise to know that the eastern gorilla is quite huge, you’ll still be shocked at its sheer scale when you see one. These primates can’t be found just anywhere in the world. You’d have to take a trip to Africa in order to see one. These gorillas weigh more than 300 pounds and can stand as tall as five feet and six inches tall. They’re also in danger of becoming extinct and people are finding ways to protect them from being completely wiped out. It’s a shame if they’ll cease to exist.
