A list without the blue whale on it is never complete. These massive titans have been hunted and killed for sport and conservationists are doing everything within their power to protect these mammals from getting extinct. A blue whale can reach a length of 98 feet and can weigh as much as 190 tons. Their heart alone can weigh up to 400 pounds. They were once swimming the ocean in abundance, but to date, there are between 10,000 to 25,000 blue whales left living in this planet.
