When it comes to snakes, there’s no doubt that the largest of the bunch is the anaconda. The green anaconda can often be found in the Amazon and can weigh as much as 550 pounds. The longest one ever found was 30 feet. The amazing thing about these reptiles is that they continue to grow all throughout their lives. The anacondas are nocturnal creatures that sometimes feed on capybaras and jaguars. So if you don’t like snakes and find yourself in the rainforest near the lake, it’s best that you stay indoors to avoid these beasts.
