A self-professed animal lover from Atlanta, Georgia, meteorologist Jennifer Delgado is the weather anchor for CNN International. Known for her work on The Weather Channel, the beautiful host earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Broadcast Journalism from Webster University in St. Louis and also received a Certificate of Broadcast Meteorology from Mississippi State University. The successful anchor, a member of the American Meteorological Society and National Weather association, among others, received criticism for her piece on Hurricane Matthew where she remarked that Haitian children “eat trees” which caused the deforestation. A cancer survivor, she was diagnosed with blood cancer in 2017 and had to undergo treatment, which included a bone marrow/stem cell transplant. After completing over 100 days in isolation to rejuvenate her immune system, she has bounced back and resumed her career.
