Jackie Guerrido is not just your average TV host and journalist. She is also an actress, radio talent, and businesswoman who first made her mark in a morning radio show called El Vacilon de la Mañana (Good Times in the Morning), after which she moved to Miami for other shows before finally landing a television gig as a traffic reporter for WSCV, a Telemundo affiliate in Miami. Her big break came when Univision made her the weather girl for Al Amanacer de Noticias 23. She moved on to Despierta America (Wake Up America), then to Primero Impacto (First Impact), where she is currently serving as an anchor. Not bad for the San Juan, Puerto Rico native who had to live with her sister and mother at a domestic violence shelter when she was young.
