Sian Welby is best known for incorporating movie puns in her weather reports. From Batman VS Superman to Star Wars and Harry Potter, the pretty host has captured millions of viewers and is considered Britain’s best ever weather presenter in a Radio Times online poll. The former Minster School student, who was born on September 3, 1986 in Nottingham, England but grew up in Upton, was the lead weather presenter for Channel 5 for several years before moving on in 2017 to host her own national radio show on Heart while also hosting several other TV shows. Not bad for the English bombshell who started out washing pots at 14 years old and as a waitress. A small role in an advert for New! Magazine then led to being discovered by then Channel 5 owner Richard Desmond, where she became the face of its weather segment.
