Postcards are some of the most treasured pieces of people’s history, especially when they come from many years before. For Amanda Reddy, she had just become the new homeowner of a rather old house in Cape Cod from 1910 to be exact, when she discovered some postcards hidden behind a kitchen baseboard. They were dated as far back as 1909 and 1970, all written to a woman named Mayme Berneck. She assumed that Ms. Berneck must have been the former owner of the home and that she had once had these postcards tacked up in her kitchen!
