Never Ending Surprises

Just when they thought that they were done with surprises, they were about to get the most mind-boggling surprise yet. The door to what they believed was the water heater was actually and entrance into a small crawl space. The room was covered in mismatched carpets which looked worn from use and age, but nothing was actually inside the room, or so it would seem. They though to themselves, it was too large a room to just have a water heater and it made them wonder, what other secrets did their house hold?
