A Giant Hidden Room

Probably one of the most incredible discoveries ever. Back in 1963, a homeowner had been in the middle of their home renovation when he tore down a wall and found a hidden room. While he was already in awe of the secret space he’d found, it wouldn’t be the last one. He would end up finding another one, and another one after that, and so on. In fact, by the time he was done, he had come upon an entire underground city! This archeological discovery is now known as the Derinkuyu, and apparently it was part of an underground tunnel network that was said to have housed the Hittites many years ago.
