Finding A Newspaper From 1951

As they double checked to make sure that there was nothing left in the box, they noticed that the case had yet another clue to the mystery. At the very bottom, they found a Cleveland Plain Dealer newspaper dated March 25, 1951. They inferred that the green case must have been from sometime in the late 40s or 50s, which also meant that it had been hidden in the basement ceiling for almost seven decades. Understanding that they had chanced upon an obvious treasure trove, it also made them wonder, why had it been stuffed in between those ceiling boards in the first place?
