For the Sessions family, they believed they found their dream home in the countryside, which they managed to snatch up for a measly $180,000 considering the size. Amber and Ben were so excited about their five-bedroom house, that was until they found out they had a serious garter snake infestation. In fact, it was so bad that there were times the ground outside looked like it was moving from all the writhing snakes. And that wasn’t all! They would hear weird rustling sounds coming from the walls too. When Ben opened up one of the panels, hundreds of snakes came tumbling out, confirming their worst possible fears. They eventually learned they were living on top of a snake hibernaculum, and had no choice but to put their home on the market and move out.
