The owners of the Fleur de Lys Mansion asked their architect, Richard Robertson, to make it as much of a French palace as possible, even sending him to the actual country to study the colossal French palaces there. The massive estate, which is 4.6 acres in size, has 12 bedrooms, 15 bathrooms, a giant movie theater, a ballroom, two separate kitchens, a tennis court, a massive swimming pool, a gym and a garage that can fit up to 9 vehicles. The house itself is made out of French limestone, and the inside is decorated with actual French pieces, some even said to have belonged to the likes of Napoleon and French Queen Maria Antoinette. The original owners that had the house built, eventually sold it to a French billionaire for the whopping price of $102 million, a record making deal for the ritzy Bel Air neighborhood.
