The richest man in India and 13th richest man in the world, Mukesh Ambani, not only owns property in the most expensive area in Mumbai, called Altamount Road, but he also had a 400,000 square foot building he named Antilia located there too. The 27-floor building took 7 years to complete and cost at least $70 million to complete by the time it was finished. With 9 elevators, a helipad, 6 floors just for cars, kitchens, a swimming pool, recreation rooms, a 50-seat theatre, prayer rooms, sleeping quarters and guest rooms, and many other types of recreational rooms, the building is seriously a modern marvel of living space. The building was also built to sustain an 8-magnitude earthquake, should one ever occur, and is now said to be worth at least $1 billion.
