The island of Hawaii has been a setting of many Hollywood movies over the years. A number of popular movies were filmed in Hawaii but some are not actually set on site. These movies include Jurassic Park and Jurassic World, 50 First Dates, Godzilla, Tropic Thunder, and other notable blockbuster films. A fan favorite, the original “Jurassic Park” movie that debuted in 1993 is one of the most popular movies filmed in Hawaii. While 50 First Dates which was released in 2004, starred Adam Sandler and Drew Barrymore, was a romantic comedy that showcased the charming connection between the two actors with the beautiful Hawaiian scenery as the back drop.
