Never Underestimate Travel Time

If you visit any of the islands and plan to return to Athens for your flight back home, always make an allowance in your time frame. Don’t think you can take the ferry back the same day as your flight schedule. That would be poor planning. Many unexpected circumstances may arise…the ferry could have mechanical problems, stuck in port due to bad weather, or a sudden work stoppage. It happens, so plan your itinerary carefully.
