Tourists love to take pictures to have mementos of the places they visit. However, always ask first if it is okay to have photos taken. Some places like military installations forbid any photos taken. Obviously for security reasons. Don’t ever attempt to do so. Locals as well may take offense if you photograph them without their permission. It is an invasion of their privacy. Besides, some may have certain beliefs about being photographed. Respect their wishes if they say no.
