Kelsey Grammer has played the intimidatingly serious yet hilarious character Frasier Crane for over 20 years, originating from Cheers. Thanks to the success of his character on Cheers, the spin-off show Frasier debuted, following the storyline of the character and his family in his hometown in Seattle. The show was adored by fans, and it became one of the top comedy shows in America. It aired for 11 seasons, and bowed out in 2004. Grammer was paid around $1.6 million per episode at the time. The actor continues to earn from the show, approximately about $13 million a year on reruns and syndication checks. Seems he does not really have to work, unless he wants to. Hopefully he will continue to entertain us with his unique sense of humor.
