Let’s veer away from comedy shows for a while, they are not the only shows whose reruns are making money. The CSI franchise created by Anthony Zuiker generated over $6 billion in total. The first series started in 2000, and the first spin-off and second series is CSI:Miami , which ran for 10 seasons from 2002 until 2012. The lead role belonged to actor David Caruso who played lieutenant Horatio Caine, one of the more popular characters of the franchise (probably due to his red hair). Caruso is a veteran actor that was active in the industry from 1975 until 2012. He has done several supporting roles in movies, including An Officer and a Gentleman, First Blood, Mad Dog and Glory, and Proof of Life. But it was the lead role in CSI:Miami which he is really known for. While we have not seen the actor much these years, he can retire in peace comfortably, getting show residuals of $100,000 a year. It may pale in comparison with others on this list, but it still seems like a good pension nonetheless.
